Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the website dbinnovationsrl.it (the "Site"), operated by DB Innovation S.r.l. By accessing or browsing the Site you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

1. Site operator

The Site is operated by DB Innovation S.r.l., a company incorporated under Italian law, with registered office in Montecatini Terme (PT), Italy, registered with the Companies Register of Pistoia-Prato under no. 02117080479 (P.IVA / tax code 02117080479), share capital € 10.000,00 fully paid up, contactable at contact@dbinnovationsrl.it.

2. Purpose of the Site — information only

The Site is an informational corporate presence. It has no user accounts, no registration, no checkout and no online sales: nothing on it can be purchased, subscribed to or contracted for. Accordingly, no contract for the supply of goods or services is concluded through the Site.

The content of the Site is published for general information purposes and does not constitute an offer to the public within the meaning of Art. 1336 of the Italian Civil Code, nor an invitation to invest, nor professional, legal, tax or financial advice. Nothing on the Site should be relied upon as the basis for any decision without seeking independent advice appropriate to your circumstances.

3. Royalpie and other linked services

The Site describes and links to Royalpie, a product of DB Innovation S.r.l. available at royalpie.it. Royalpie is governed by its own separate terms of service and privacy policy, published on that site; those documents — not these Terms — apply to any use of the Royalpie product or application. Descriptions of Royalpie on this Site are summaries for information and do not modify, extend or override Royalpie's own contractual terms.

The Site may contain links to other third-party websites. We do not control them, do not endorse their content by linking to them, and accept no responsibility for their content, availability or practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, layout, graphics, logos, the "DB Innovation" and "Royalpie" names and marks, images, source code and stylesheets — is owned by DB Innovation S.r.l. or used under licence, and is protected by Italian and international copyright and trade mark law (in particular Law 633/1941 and Legislative Decree 30/2005).

You may view the Site, and print or download extracts, for your own personal, non-commercial information purposes, provided all proprietary notices are kept intact. Any other use — in particular reproduction, republication, distribution, public communication, modification, creation of derivative works, or commercial exploitation — requires our prior written consent. Systematic extraction of content, including automated scraping or use of Site content to train machine-learning models, is not permitted without such consent.

The Inter and Space Grotesk typefaces served by the Site are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and remain the property of their respective authors.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in a way that breaches applicable law or these Terms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or any connected system;
  • interfere with the Site's normal operation, including by introducing malware or by imposing an unreasonable load on the infrastructure;
  • use the Site's contact address to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).

6. Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the Site available and its content accurate and up to date, but we give no guarantee to that effect. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available": access may be suspended, restricted or interrupted at any time, including for maintenance or for reasons attributable to our hosting provider. Content may be changed, corrected or removed at any time without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DB Innovation S.r.l. shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, or from reliance on information published on it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct (dolo) or gross negligence (colpa grave), for death or personal injury, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory Italian law — including the mandatory protections afforded to consumers by Legislative Decree 206/2005 (the Italian Consumer Code), which remain unaffected.

8. Personal data

Processing of personal data in connection with the Site is described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time to reflect changes to the Site or to applicable law. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the "Last updated" date above indicates when it took effect. Your continued use of the Site after publication constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Pistoia, Italy.

If you use the Site as a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence: under Art. 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code and Regulation (EU) 1215/2012, the competent court is that of your place of residence or domicile.
